Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Sakul Enterprises s.r.o. uses cookies and similar storage technologies on essentialoilsbible.com (the "Site"). It complements our Privacy Policy.

Cookies and local storage are small pieces of data saved in your browser when you visit the Site. We use them to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, attribute referrals, and — only with your consent — to understand how the Site is used so we can improve it.

What we do not do

We run no advertising or marketing trackers on the Site. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles, we do not serve third-party ads, and we never sell your data to anyone.

Cookie categories we use

1. Strictly necessary (always on)

These are essential for the Site to function and cannot be switched off. They do not require consent. They include:

  • Login / session cookie — keeps you signed in to your account (JWT login session). Purpose: authentication and access to paid content. Duration: typically the browser session or until you sign out.
  • Language preference cookie (eobible_lang) — remembers your chosen language. Purpose: show the Site in your language. Duration: persistent, approximately 12 months.
  • Consent-choice cookie — records which cookie categories you have accepted or declined. Purpose: respect your consent on future visits. Duration: persistent, approximately 12 months.
  • Affiliate / referral attribution cookie — records the affiliate or referral link you arrived through. Purpose: correctly attribute a referral if you subscribe. Duration: persistent, limited to the attribution window.

2. Analytics (only with your consent)

These help us understand how visitors use the Site and where errors occur, so we can improve it. They only load after you give consent and can be declined or withdrawn at any time. They include:

  • PostHog (EU region) — product analytics (which pages and features are used, anonymized usage patterns). Data is processed in the European Union. Duration: per PostHog's cookies, persistent up to approximately 12 months.
  • Sentry (EU region) — error and performance monitoring (capturing technical errors so we can fix them). Data is processed in the European Union. Duration: session to short-lived storage as set by Sentry.

3. Advertising

None. We do not use any advertising, marketing, or cross-site tracking cookies.

How to change your consent

When you first visit the Site, you can accept or decline analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie-settings control in the Site footer. Declining or withdrawing consent stops the analytics tools from loading on subsequent visits. You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings; note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in or using parts of the Site.

Third parties

The analytics providers named above (PostHog and Sentry) may set their own cookies or storage when enabled with your consent. We have selected EU-region processing for both. We do not allow them to use your data for advertising.

Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the tools we use. The current version is always published on the Site.
