Sakul Enterprises s.r.o. operates the essentialoilsbible.com website, is the controller of your personal data, and provides web subscriptions (payments processed via Stripe). Our mobile applications are published on the Apple App Store and Google Play by our affiliate Sakul LLC, a limited liability company registered in Arizona, USA (entity ID 23164716). If you subscribe through a mobile app store, that transaction is also governed by the app store's own terms and privacy practices.

We operate the website www.essentialoilsbible.com.

In order to provide our services, sell products and operate our website, we process some personal data.

The processing of personal data is regulated in particular by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons in connection with the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and on the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) ("GDPR").

On what legal basis do we process personal data?

• In case of a request using the contact form or in another way: This is processing on the basis of Article 6 paragraph 1 letter b) GDPR — contract negotiation, or implementation of pre-contractual measures at your request.
• In case of purchase of products or services: This is processing on the basis of Article 6 paragraph 1 letter b) GDPR — fulfillment of the contract and Article 6 paragraph 1 letter c) GDPR — fulfillment of our legal obligation.
• In the case of newsletters (commercial communications): Section 7, paragraph 3 of Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on certain information society services allows us to do this, if you did not prohibit us from doing so during the purchase.

III. Disclosure of personal information

We may disclose your personal information to any of our employees, officers, insurers, professional advisers, agents, contractors, or subcontractors as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this policy.

We may disclose your personal information:

VI. Security of your personal information

We will take reasonable technical and organizational measures to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal data.

We store all personal data you provide on the secure servers of our hosting provider SiteGround (EU region), protected by password and firewall. Transactional e-mail is delivered via Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES).

All electronic financial transactions entered through our website will be processed through the payment gateway of Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, which provides secure technology for accepting payment cards and online bank transfers. You enter payment card numbers, credit cards and e-banking passwords using the secure and trusted channel of Stripe Payments Europe, Limited. This data is not shared with us by the said company and we do not have access to it.

When storing and processing personal data, we use the services of some companies that get access to the data because they help us provide products and services. They are:

• carriers used to ship physical promotional items included with certain purchases (e.g. a printed poster or an essential-oil sample): Česká pošta, s.p., with registered office at Politických vězňú 909/4, 225 99 Prague 1; Zásilkovna.cz, Českomoravská 2408/1a, 190 00 Prague 9;
• payment processing: Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, 3 Dublin Landings, North Wall Quay, Dublin 1, Dublin;
• transactional e-mail delivery (Amazon SES): Amazon Web Services, Inc., 410 Terry Avenue North, Seattle, WA 98109, USA;
• website hosting, content delivery and security: SiteGround Spain S.L. (European Union) for content hosting; Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, for content delivery, edge computing and security;
• e-mail marketing and newsletter delivery: MailChimp — The Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA;
• product analytics, processed in the European Union: PostHog;
• error and performance monitoring, processed in the European Union: Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.).

You acknowledge that the transmission of information over the Internet is inherently insecure and we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the Internet.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password you use to access our website; we will not ask you for your password (except when you log in to our website).

VII. Use of cookies
